Launch Watch privacy
Effective October 3, 2026. This notice covers Launch Watch newsletter registration, separately requested mission alerts, and email delivery. See our site privacy policy for the rest of LaunchDetect.
Information collected
Your email, chosen frequency, optional interest, signup source (such as dashboard or blog), consent version and timestamps, confirmation and unsubscribe status, and delivery records. We use short-lived, hashed network identifiers to limit signup abuse.
Registration and confirmation
If you join before delivery opens, we save a pending registration and later send an invitation to confirm. Pending registrations expire after 30 days. You do not receive newsletter editions until you confirm your email. Once confirmed, we send your chosen edition and messages needed to manage your subscription.
Optional subscription information
The primary-use field is optional. LaunchDetect may use the selected category to include relevant publication links. Selecting organizational use does not request sales contact. Evaluation inquiries are submitted separately and are covered by a separate notice.
Distribution and access
LaunchDetect uses Amazon Web Services to store subscription records and deliver email. We record delivery outcomes and handle bounces and complaints. We do not put tracking pixels in Launch Watch emails or sell the list. Private email links let you change frequency or unsubscribe without an account.
Retention and subscription management
Active subscription details are kept while you subscribe. Pending registrations are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Short-lived abuse counters expire within two days. Delivery records expire after 180 days. We keep an opt-out or suppression record to prevent unwanted sends. You can ask us to remove your registration or personal details at privacy@launchdetect.com.
Unsubscribe links stop future Launch Watch editions. Email already in delivery may still arrive. To rejoin, submit a new signup and confirm again.
