Source data and open-source components make this public view possible. Source dates and limitations appear with the layers and records.

Fonts

Explore and the current public introduction pages self-host Inter, Space Grotesk, and JetBrains Mono. These unmodified font files are distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, with the original copyright notices: Inter license, Space Grotesk license, JetBrains Mono license. The font licenses do not apply to unrelated site content.

Globe, imagery, and data

• CesiumJS: Apache License 2.0 and included third-party notices. The bundled license notice is retained.
• Fallback Earth image: NASA Blue Marble. Detailed Esri World Imagery loads by default, and NASA GIBS night imagery loads when selected. Provider attribution remains in the globe's credits.
• Worldwide EEZs: Flanders Marine Institute (2023), Maritime Boundaries Geodatabase version 12, DOI 10.14284/632, under CC BY 4.0 and source terms. Boundaries are simplified for display, and source claim labels are preserved.
• Marine protected areas: NOAA's U.S. MPA inventory, with source year and limitations in the layer details. It is not a worldwide MPA inventory.
• Orbital elements: CelesTrak; modeled positions use SGP4. See timestamps and source links in the spacecraft details.
• Polygon intersection: included open-source license.

Original illustrations and external services

The displayed spacecraft symbols were created in Blender for LaunchDetect. The static coffee mug is original SVG artwork. The header support link and optional five-minute reminder use the coffee animation served from LaunchDetect hosting; reduced-motion preferences use the static mug. After five minutes of visible browsing, the reminder loads the Buy Me a Coffee widget, which opens the platform's payment experience in an embedded frame when selected. Interface translations were prepared using Amazon Translate and are served as static site content; mission names and linked source records keep their original language. Buy Me a Coffee and provider names identify their respective services; their appearance does not imply endorsement of LaunchDetect.
